About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Relationship Manager to serve as a trusted advisor to our retirement plan clients. This role is responsible for managing client relationships, providing fiduciary guidance, and delivering investment and plan consulting services for defined contribution plans (401(k), 403(b), and 457).

The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with excellent client-facing skills and a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.

Key Responsibilities


Including but not limited to:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned retirement plan clients

  • Lead client meetings, including fiduciary reviews, investment reviews, and plan design discussions

  • Provide ongoing guidance on fiduciary responsibilities and industry best practices

  • Conduct investment research, benchmarking, and portfolio analysis for client plans

  • Support investment menu construction, monitoring, and manager selection

  • Partner with clients to evaluate and enhance plan design and participant outcomes

  • Deliver employee education through group presentations and one-on-one meetings

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery

  • Stay current on regulatory changes, industry trends, and market developments

  • Support additional projects and initiatives as needed


Skills / Qualifications


Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field

  • 5+ years of experience working with employer-sponsored retirement plans

  • Strong understanding of fiduciary standards, investment principles, and retirement plan regulations

  • FINRA Series 65 (or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe)

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills

  • Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and deliver high-quality service


Preferred:

  • Professional designations relating to the 401(k) plan industry preferred

  • Experience leading client meetings and presenting to plan committees

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Full Time

Workspace

Primarily in-office, with hybrid flexibility

Occasional overnight travel required (approximately 1–2 days per month)
